Doctor Smile Dental Laser in association with Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (DU) held the Doctor Smile Conclave in Nagpur, India from 20th Nov to 22nd Nov 2012. The three day laser conference on dental applications of laser technology was proud to host Prof. Stefano Benedicenti, Dean Dept. of Laser Dentistry, University of Genova, Italy, as its main lecturer alongside Dr. Alex Mathews, Indian course director, and Dr R. Borle, Dean of the Dept. of Laser Dentistry of the Datta Meghe Institute. The event was organized within the framework of the International Fellowship in Laser Dentistry created by the Italian and the Indian universities to finally bring high level training to practitioners in India. In occasion of the Conclave, the students participating in the master were awarded their diplomas.
During the event, the first Doctor Smile Dental Laser Clinic opened in India was presented: Dr. Mukesh Chandak is the proud owner of the very first clinic fully equipped with all the dental laser technology at present available, to make visits to the dentist’s free from fear and pain. The red tape was cut by Prof. Benedicenti: “It is such a pleasure to see my efforts come to life: laser dentistry must be practiced everywhere and be available in as many clinics as possible!”
